Art Deco Society of California - Art Deco Preservation Ball

The Art Deco styles are becoming more and more fashionable again, being loose fitting, comfortable and definitely “different.” Their long straight form suits many body types, the glamour and individuality coming from the decoration and accessories in the 20′s and the seams and cut in the 30′s.
From the low waisted flapper style to the later higher wasted slinky models, this period has something for everybody.

We will soon have a sample dress to show but in the meantime, we can make your 20′s or 30′s dress from scratch, using our design or a design of your choice. We can reproduce most dresses and lingerie from this era. How about a matching dressing gown, slip or nightgown?

The following vintage patterns may inspire you, or give you some ideas, although some of the originals may not be available, very expensive or hard to get hold of.
