We have 3 options, Made to Measure by post,
Made to Measure with personal fittings and Fully Bespoke original design sdescribed below:
Whatever your level of purchase, we are happy to answer any questions and satisfy yourself that you are ordering the right product for you. You may be looking for advice on what kind of styles would suit you, or have a definite idea of a dream outfit.
STEP 1 – First Free Consultation
You may visit us, phone, or email to discuss your requirements when we will be happy to answer any questions you may have whilst offering advice and suggestions.
STEP 2 – Choose Your Dress
You decide on your chosen dress, made by mail order, personal fittings or fully bespoke.
STEP 3 – Sign contract and pay by BACS, Cheque or PayPal
Normally a 50% deposit is required at the commissioning stage for made to measure or bespoke and full payment for any ready made item. Full payment may also be required for garments made at short notice.
STEP 4 – Made to Measure by Post
Your garment will be made from our standard range, using your given measurements; using our measuring form You have the choice of extra trim or customisation, including those stated for each garment in the description.
We strongly recommend that you follow the instructions in detail, seen on our measuring form pages.
STEP 5 – The Toile
A partial or full toile (mock up) is made to your measurements and sent to you for trial before the actual garment is cut. Photos taken whilst wearing the toile help us to diagnose problems and enable us to make sure that the garment fits and hangs correctly. The modified Toile is returned to us and the garment completed to these measurements. Each non standard dress will be subject to an individual quotation and start at £799 and £999 for our “all silk” models
OR
STEP 4 – Made to Measure with Fittings
Your requirements are discussed and full measurements are taken at the first meeting.
STEP 5- Toile & Fittings
A toile, (mock up) is made and a number of personal fittings appropriate to the chosen garment. Typically, wedding dresses and ball gowns require 2 more fittings, depending on the complexity of the design. We can arrange fittings elsewhere, at our discretion, for which a charge may be made subject to an individual quotation.
Your choice of garment will be from our standard models, or a pattern, with or without minor modifications.
The starting prices stated are for the basic garment in good quality materials, without extras or modifications. Each non standard dress will be subject to an individual quotation and start at £799 and £999 for our “all silk” models
OR
STEP 4 – Bespoke & Original Designs
We discuss your requirements and provide designs based on original vintage dresses or from desired design features.The charge for this service is subject to an individual discussion and quotation. Prices start at £1500.
How to Order
Please contact us by email or phone to discuss your requirements with no obligation; or, use our contact form, giving your details and we will contact you, normally within 48 hours. If you wish to buy a ready made sample online, please email or use our contact form to reserve the item. We always recommend that you give us your measurements so that we can satisfy ourselves that the item will fit with little or no alterations.
Payment Details
We accept payment by bank transfer, cleared personal cheque, cash and Paypal for most credit card transactions. (Please ask for details.)
