Self Measurement Form (made to order) – Sleeveless Dresses
ANDREA BEUN SLEEVELESS DRESS MEASURING FORM – INSTRUCTIONS
• Please ask a trusted or skilled person to take these measurements.
• Stand upright with good posture and arms to the side.
• Wear your normal un-padded bra and take measurements next to the skin or over a thin t-shirt or similar.
• Tie a narrow ribbon or piece of string around the narrowest part of your waist. The waist band of a pair of pantyhose is an alternative. THIS IS IMPORTANT as this point is used as a reference for other measurements!
• Note down measurements in inches or centimetres.
• The tape measure should be snug but not too tight, no cheating here please!
• Make sure that the tape does not sag and is the same height all round the body.
HORIZONTAL MEASUREMENTS
1) Bust: Measure around the fullest part of the bust wearing your normal bra.
2) Under-bust: Measure immediately beneath the breasts or a the base of the bra cup.
3) Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist which should coincide approximatleywith your navel.
The ribbon you tied in this position should re rechecked for position
4) Fullest hip: Find the fullest part of the hip/derriere and take the measurement here.
5) Your Height
6) Your normal bra size including cup size. (We recommend that you have a bra fitting to ensure that this is correct.)
7) FOR LONG DRESSES ONLY: Measure from the waist to floor at the front wearing your chosen shoes or shoes with same heel height.

Please let us know if you have any “fitting problems” with off the peg dresses, for example long waist, broad shoulders etc., please list or contact us to discuss any modifications necessary. You may wish to opt for the made to measure service, should you have “non standard” proportions.
